The Story
The design pays homage to the strong Louisiana culture that shaped Rukus from their inception. The color design can be tied directly into the beautiful and coveted colors of the Mallard Duck. The brown suede ties directly to the feathers, yellow tumbled leather reflects the beak of the bird, green suede from the head of the duck, and orange accents and outsole for the feet. The crown jewel is the iridescent N logo on the lateral which changes from green to blue, much like the duck’s hind feathers.
